That’s right – there are some NEW GRILLS IN TOWN!!! These come from Blaze Outdoor Products. We just saw the first one and it’s quite a unique Kamado. This one is all aluminum and so it has some special features and benefits we have not found in other grills. You might like to take a look at it! There are a number of other Blaze Grills that will be added soon – monitor the web over the next week or two to see all the new offerings – we think you might like them. We hope that you take a look at what’s available and see if these grills ARE RIGHT FOR YOUR BEST BACKYARD!!!
There be a movie with this title; but the fact is true – CHARCOAL’S NOT DEAD! We know that in today’s hurry up and get it done atmosphere, charcoal grilling might be on the back burner. Propane and electric are both quicker, no ashes to clean up, easier to control the cooking temperature, and no lighter fluid (unless you use matchlite!). But, the true grill masters still believe that the best grilled fares come from charcoal grills! And, you know, they are probably right. We changed to propane several years ago and our grilled meats are fine. But we aren’t smoking Boston Butts for the Memphis in May competition! So, take your pick – propane, electric, charcoal. The old timers are picking charcoal every time!!
Well, when you get right down to it, there’s all kinds of things that I don’t know – probably a lot more things than those that I do know!! Oh, well! The thing I did not know was that Cal Flame (famous for their propane/natural gas top of the line outdoor grills) also makes a Charcoal Grill. Did you know that? I found it on line the other day, and it was a surprise to me. It looks just like their other grills but it uses charcoal; and you can get a number of bells and whistles with it like a cutting board, griddle, or smoke tray. If you are an old fashioned nothing-grills-like-charcoal buff, then this might just be the grill for you. Take a look!
On the days that my family spends enjoying the yard and the good weather outside of our house, I like to make sure that the meals that we eat are ones that we can make outside. It is wonderful to be able to go out on my deck where I can really enjoy myself fully. There are many different items that I can use to make it so that I am able to continue cooking out there.
When I am able to be outside cooking on a regular basis, I feel really fulfilled. It is easy for me to be able to get the right kind of food cooking over a fire or on one of our outdoor charcoal grills. I always have a really wonderful time whenever I spend time outside cooking on a regular basis. It is exciting to be able to watch the food turning the perfect color on the grill.
For some reason, the food that I prepare outside always seems to taste so much better than any kind of food that can be made on a regular basis. It is wonderful to be able to spend time outside and cooking just makes the experience even better than it would be without it.
Time for the old fashioned way of cooking food on the outside grill – USE CHARCOAL! I know nowadays that charcoal grills are a thing of the past; but they still make the food taste the best. So if you are a true griller, you are probably a charcoal grill fan. We have a great propane grill; but I do miss the charcoal cooking and the charcoal cooking flavor. We still have a full bag or charcoal briquettes up in the shed; it’s unopened and been up there for a couple of years now – bummer!! I can remember back in the 1980’s when we grilled out about 4 or 5 times a week – the food was good and the dishes were less!! But I guess those days are gone. If you have a charcoal grill – keep it! If you need a new grill, try a deluxe charcoal grill – you might find you like it more than you thought you would!!!
